Some more details about Lotusphere 2008 are appearing on the official Lotusphere website. Details on the LotuSalon and the agenda are now available.

One interesting note is how they will be splitting the Opening General Session. On registration you will either be given a yellow name badge or a white name badge. The color of the badge will determine which OGS you will be attending.

8:00am - 10:00am Opening General Session (Yellow Badges)
9:00am - 10:00am Lotusalon 2.08 (White Badges)

or

11:00am - 1:00pm Opening General Session (White Badges)
11:00am - 12:00pm LotuSalon 2.08 (Yellow Badges)

Hopefully somebody in IBM has a nice big long list of bloggers and can make sure they get yellow badges so that they can live blog the OGS during the first session.

There are also a couple of other keynote sessions being held during the week. On Tuesday there is a keynote on Unified Communications, On Wednesday a keynote on Social Software and Thursday sees a keynote on Application Development.

Jamfest will be held on Monday night after the product showcase reception and SpeedGeeking will be back on Wednesday night before the party ( Still no clues as to where that will be held, I'm hoping for MGM or MagicKingdom ).

Gravatar Image1 - I was on a call yesterday specifically regarding the blogger and OGS point. Now the hard part is deciding which bloggers to include -- just having a URL live somewhere is probably not the right criteria. What is?

Gravatar Image2 - Very true, just having a URL live might result in 7000+ domino related blogs popping up within the next month Emoticon

I would suggest looking at people active within the community, people who have attended past Lotuspheres, people who have blogged the OSG in past lotuspheres and basically using some common sense to look at the resulting list and try see who might be missing. If the list needs to stay internal to IBM for the moment then use the other IBM bloggers to help review the list.

Gravatar Image3 - I would hope that the decision of who is in which OGC is based on who registered when (first come, first serve)...

Gravatar Image4 - Declan,
Nice catch on the keynotes. They look interesting. My vote for party is Magic Kingdom(although Splash Mountain will be closed).

Gravatar Image5 - For purely selfish reasons, I do hope I'm in that first crowd.
